Sixteen years ago, working as a physiotherapist at my women's health clinic in Auckland, a patient desperately required a pregnancy support belt for her pelvic joint pain.

Unable to access the large medical companies, I resorted to my own knowledge of pregnancy and pelvic stability, and designed a maternity support belt for her.
