Sixteen years ago, working as a physiotherapist at my Women's Health Clinic in Auckland, a patient desperately required a pregnancy support belt for her pelvic joint pain.
Unable to access the large medical companies I resorted to my own knowledge of pregnancy and pelvic stability and designed a maternity support belt for her.
